Ulysses And A Good Man Is Hard To Find
Ulysses and A Good man is Hard To Find
In both Ulysses and A Good Man is Hard to Find there are two characters that are alike in similar ways. Ulysses and Grandmother are alike in many ways. They are alike in three ways they are both uncaring for their family, they only care about themselves and they both think they are better than other people are.
Ulysses is a king that goes off to war. He is uncaring for his family in the way that he leaves his family and does not return for twenty years. When he does return he expects every thing to be the same as it was before he left. He expects his wife to look the same, but she has aged. Ulysses only cares about his adventures and the sights he has seen. He is a king and he leaves the kingdom to his son. Ulysses does not care about how this affects his families’ life. Ulysses cares for everyone except his own family. He cares for wars and he goes around and fights like this makes him look better. Ulysses does not have his priorities straight. Just like in A Good Man is Hard to Find, Grandmother is too self centered and snooty. Her family does not respect her. Her grandchildren do not listen to her and she has raised her son
