Gulliver's Travels

    Gulliver’s Travels begins in 1699 and Gulliver was on a ship called the Antelope. They were sailing towards the East Indies but they’re trip was suddenly ended by hitting a rock. With thinking everybody was dead, Gulliver swam toward shore. When he reached land he collapsed exhausted. Whenever he awoke he found that he could not move. There were little people all around. Gulliver found out that the tiny men weren’t going to hurt him. Still tied down, Gulliver was transported to an empty temple near the capital. He was chained just for a precaution. Finally one day Gulliver said he would be loyal to the little people’s government, the Lilliputian. Then he was allowed to visit the capital, Mildendo. While there he learned of the people, their government, and religion. One day a nearby country attacked Lilliput. But when the country’s navy saw Gulliver they jumped their ships and swam for shore. Unfortunately the Admiral of the Lilliputian navy was jealous of Gulliver. While visiting Blefusu, the country that tried to attack Lilliput, Gulliver was tried and convicted of treason.
