Positive affect on reader
“What counts is not necessarily the size of the dog in the fight, but it’s the size of the fight in the dog”, is a great quote by General Dwight D. Eisenhower which signifies the power a persons heart and mind can have over their physical strength. This quote proves to be true in the non-fiction novel “The Element of Surprise”, by Darryl Young who was a United States Navy SEAL throughout the war in Vietnam. This was an extraordinary book because it was very descriptive to how war was in Vietnam and gives good information on the life of a Navy SEAL.
