People probably only read Of Mice and Men because it’s a short book. They probably don’t even know what it’s about only that they could finish it in a few days. I didn’t go into it with that view. My Dad has always loved that book and my brother had just finished reading it at school. The more you can’t understand it the better it is. Luckily, I’m shying away from that view and realizing that it doesn’t matter what people say or what the “intellects” think. If you can’t understand it or don’t like it then it’s not a good book. It only matters as to what the book says to you.
