Catcher in the Rye
The story A Catcher in the Rye written by J.D. Salinger was all about a young man named Holden Caulfield. Holden was a michevious boy from New York City whom always lacked off in his doings. He would never care about school and his grades, but always managed to get a good passing grade in English that was taught by a teacher named Mr. Spencer. Holden learns the most valuable lessons about everyday life and wonders why he has to live the life he has.
Holden had three siblings’ back home that he thought of most of the time, two of which were older than he was. His oldest brother D.B. was a writer that moved away to Hollywood.
