Reflection of The Color of Water
I thought "The Color Of Water", by James McBride was an excellent book. James did a terrific job at taking me into his shoes to feel how it was like to be him in his world. Through personal thoughts, feelings and gifted intelligence he expressed vividly the feelings towards his white skinned mother, haveing to live in a small house cramped with eleven other siblings, his difficult childhood, and the search for his mother's past and the hidden identity within his soul.
James brought this book to life. I really liked the interesting arrangement and the unique way this book was written. It was a book that held the story of two people that were differe
